Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Liliana “Lili” Herzog as Winter Term Intern
Yellow Springs, OH — The Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Liliana “Lili” Herzog, a Yellow Springs High School alum, to the Chamber team. Lili has selected the YS Chamber as the site of her Oberlin College Winter Term internship, and the Chamber is delighted to support her continued academic and professional journey while being part of her collegiate experience.
During her winter term, Lili will contribute to several key initiatives designed to strengthen the Chamber’s operational readiness, preserve institutional history, and support strategic marketing efforts for one of the community’s signature events. Her work will directly advance the Chamber’s mission to serve its members, partners, and the broader Yellow Springs community with clarity, efficiency, and measurable impact.
As part of her internship, Lili will conduct a comprehensive review of Chamber office materials, products, and resources to assess relevance and usability, and will develop an organized redistribution plan to share select materials with community members and partner organizations. She will also assist in evaluating historical documents and records to determine appropriate archival and preservation methods, including digital scanning, secure archiving, or coordination with the local historical society or other suitable entities, supporting long-term access, protection of institutional history, and organizational continuity. In addition, Lili will assess the Chamber’s annual Street Fair program and help develop a strategic marketing, content, and communication plan aimed at strengthening outreach to existing audiences while creating opportunities for year-round engagement and increased visibility for this premier community event.
Collectively, these efforts will enhance the Chamber’s operational efficiency by streamlining workflows, improving internal systems, and increasing clarity across processes. The project will also improve access to information, support informed decision-making, and reinforce the Chamber’s ability to engage stakeholders consistently while effectively serving its members, partners, and the Yellow Springs community.
