Meet Justin and DJ Galvin of Urban Handmade – Heart of the Business
Our mission has always been to create a space for artists to share their work, and after 16 years, we currently feature over 85 exciting and independent artists.
The Heart of the Business is presented by the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce, celebrating the vibrant stories and unique contributions of local businesses throughout the village.
“Yellow Springs is a community where neighbors support neighbors, and our businesses reflect that spirit every day,” said Phillip O’Rourke, Executive Director of the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce. “Through this campaign, we want to highlight the stories that make our village unique and celebrate the people who bring it to life.” –Press Release
Don’t just read the stories; experience them. Take some time to visit the local businesses, meet the owners, and connect with the workers who power our community every day. Their passion, creativity, and hard work are what make our village vibrant, welcoming, and full of life. Your support helps keep our community strong and thriving.

Collaborating, bridge building, and regional connection all work together and helps us become more effective and purposeful.

Three Ten Bed & Breakfast is known for its cozy atmosphere, art gallery, beautiful garden lawn, and walkable downtown location.

We live right here in Yellow Springs and do our best to be a valuable part of this interesting and unique community.

What I love most is that I can make a living helping people become the best version of themselves through education, guidance, and active engagement.

Yellow Springs is full of interesting, kind, and thoughtful people, and getting to help my neighbors while building real relationships is the best part of what I do.

We love getting to know our fellow Yellow Springers and using this solid, supportive base to work around the country and the world.

We assist our clients with understanding and selecting what works best for them and then supporting these complex coverages through the years with them.

“My love of art, beauty and nature and sharing what I find keeps me going.”
Marcia Wallgren, Ohio Silver Co.

We now have 20 artists sharing a wonderful gallery space. All of us create our own work and organize our individual spaces.

Most of my work comes from relationships, conversations, and word of mouth, and this community makes that possible.

Every part of what we do, from our tranquil space to our inclusive values, is about helping people feel comfortable, confident, and cared for exactly as they are.
