HELPFUL CELEBRATION INFORMATION
As the host, you have the opportunity to shape your ribbon cutting celebration to reflect your business’s personality and brand. While the YS Chamber provides essential support and ceremonial elements, certain aspects of the event are your responsibility to coordinate.
Host Provided Elements
You are responsible for any additional costs associated with the event, such as food, beverages, décor, or advertising beyond what is provided by the Chamber. While refreshments are not required, offering light snacks or drinks can create a more inviting and festive atmosphere for your guests.
Optional Enhancements
Consider adding door prizes, product samples, or promotional giveaways to engage your guests and encourage future visits. These extras are a great way to leave a lasting impression but are entirely optional.

Ceremony Coordination
We’ll bring the ceremonial ribbon and scissors, take photos and video, and help guide the flow of the event. The Chamber will welcome your guests, help gather everyone for the ribbon cutting moment, and then invite you as the host to share a few words about your business or milestone.
Inviting Key Community Partners
To help spotlight your event, the Chamber will notify our Board of Directors, local leaders, and community dignitaries, encouraging their attendance and support. This added visibility is a valuable opportunity to build connections and expand your local network.
