Yellow Springs Chamber Releases “Only Local Guide” to Spotlight Small Businesses and Strengthen Street Fair Experience

The Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the release of the Yellow Springs Street Fair Only Local Guide, a new community resource designed to help residents and visitors navigate the village’s vibrant business district during (and beyond) one of its most celebrated annual events.

The guide features a detailed street-by-street listing of local businesses, offering descriptions that highlight the unique character, offerings, and experiences available throughout downtown Yellow Springs. In addition, it includes information on upcoming festivals, helping visitors extend their stay and engage more deeply with everything the village has to offer.

The Only Local Guide represents the Chamber's commitment to ensuring that the economic impact of Street Fair extends beyond the festival footprint. By intentionally directing visitors to local businesses throughout the village, we create greater visibility, stronger customer connections, and more opportunities for businesses to benefit from the thousands of people who choose Yellow Springs as a destination. This is economic development in action, and it reflects our mission to support business success while strengthening the community as a whole.

Produced as both a digital eMag and in 2,500 printed copies to be distributed at the festival, The Only Local Guide brings this work into sharper focus by concentrating specifically on local business support during the June YS Street Fair, ensuring that the community & visitors can more easily discover storefronts, explore side streets, and engage with the year-round businesses that form the foundation of Yellow Springs’ economic and cultural identity.

With this release, the Chamber continues its commitment to strengthening the local economy, supporting small businesses, and enhancing the visitor experience in one of Ohio’s most distinctive communities.
