Yellow Springs Street Fair Brings Beer & Music Festival to the Heart of Downtown
Beer & Music Festival will relocate to Short Street for the October 10, 2026 Street Fair
YELLOW SPRINGS, OHIO (September 8, 2026) — The Yellow Springs Street Fair continues to evolve, creating new opportunities to bring community, connection, and downtown culture into the heart of the festival experience. On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Street Fair’s Beer & Music Festival will relocate to Short Street, bringing the celebration directly into downtown Yellow Springs.
Previously held on the lawn of the John Bryan Community Center, the Beer & Music Festival will now be integrated into the downtown Street Fair footprint. The move brings live music and the Yellow Springs Brewery Beer Garden closer to the businesses, people, and activity that make Yellow Springs unique, while encouraging visitors to explore more of downtown and experience more of what the village has to offer.
“This change goes to the heart of the Chamber’s role in creating opportunities that strengthen our business community while supporting the community as a whole,” said Phillip O’Rourke, Executive Director of the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce. “We want people to experience the Street Fair as a connected experience throughout downtown, where businesses, visitors, residents, and the festival itself all contribute to the energy of the day. Moving the Beer & Music Festival to Short Street gives us an opportunity to bring more of downtown into that experience.”
Located at the center of the downtown corridor, Short Street provides a natural connection between Street Fair activities, downtown businesses, and other areas of the community. The new location allows the Chamber to thoughtfully manage the festival footprint while maintaining the live music, Yellow Springs Brewery Beer Garden, and overall experience people have enjoyed in previous years.
The relocation will come with a few additional adjustments. Bike parking will move to Dayton Street, creating a dedicated space for cyclists while opening additional opportunities for parking and pedestrian movement throughout the downtown corridor.
The Street Fair will continue on its established 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule, with the Beer & Music Festival on Short Street running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Keeping the Beer & Music Festival within the Street Fair’s established closing time allows the streets to reopen on the same schedule as in previous years while minimizing disruption to the downtown community.
The fall layout is designed to increase foot traffic throughout downtown, create greater visibility for businesses, and encourage visitors to explore more of the village while enjoying the Street Fair. With the bike path remaining an accessible boundary and connection to downtown and the Millworks Business Center, the October layout also provides convenient access for bus routes, pedestrians, cyclists, and businesses.
The Yellow Springs Street Fair will take place Saturday, October 10, 2026, featuring live music, the Yellow Springs Brewery Beer Garden on Short Street, and the full festival experience throughout downtown Yellow Springs.
More details, including the music lineup, event map, parking, and bike parking information, will be announced on www.ysstreetfair.com as the event approaches.
