AC Service Company Celebrates Nearly 100 Years of Service in Yellow Springs

For nearly a century, AC Service Company has been a familiar and trusted part of the Yellow Springs community. On Friday, July 24, the community is invited to celebrate the company’s incredible history, honor its legacy, and welcome the next chapter of a family tradition that began in 1872.

The celebration will feature the symbolic Passing of the Key Ceremony from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, representing the transition from one generation to the next and the continued commitment to the values that have guided AC Service Company for generations: family, service, and dedication to the community.

Following the ceremony, guests are invited to stay for a community celebration from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM featuring free food, raffles, an opportunity to meet the AC Service Company team, and time to celebrate a business that has played an important role in the Yellow Springs community for decades.

“AC Service Company is a wonderful example of the businesses that make Yellow Springs such a special place,” said Phillip O’Rourke, Executive Director of the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce. “Their story is one of commitment, resilience, and showing up for their neighbors year after year. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to stay for a community meet-and-greet until noon. Light refreshments will be available as attendees have the opportunity to connect with owner Alissa Paolella and learn more about the studio’s work.
