Members in the News: Urban Handmade Highlights Yellow Springs’ Creative Business Community
Yellow Springs continues to earn recognition for its distinctive mix of independent businesses, artists, and makers. In a recent Good Day Dayton feature, Urban Handmade showcased the work of 85 independent artists and makers while highlighting the community’s strong connection to creativity, sustainability, and locally driven entrepreneurship.
DJ Galvin of Urban Handmade described the community’s unique business environment:
“Everything is really original and unique. You can’t find it anywhere else. A lot of other things are upcycled and recycled and things like that. So it’s a perfect fit in Yellow Springs.”
